Wreaths Across America
Every year, Bill Bradley, owner of 5280 Waste and Starlight software in Denver, Colorado supports Wreaths Across America. This project coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at the gravesites of US Veterans in the country’s National Cemeteries. This event happens simultaneously all across America.
This year, on December 14th, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, 4,000 people placed 21,800 wreaths on soldier gravesites. Starlight and 5280 Waste provided financial contributions, and 5280 Waste also donated dumpster services for the preservation of these hollowed grounds.
In addition, this year, Bill’s son and Starlight employee Joe Bradley, a US Army Airborne and Afghanistan veteran, was selected to represent the US Army during this heart-felt memorial ceremony.
Cpl. Joe Bradley attended Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado. Heritage High School has a proud history of distinguished alumni. Navy SEAL Danny Dietz also graduated from Heritage, and is forever memorialized for his impeccable courage, portrayed in the best-selling book and film “Lone Survivor.”
